In El Salvador, Christmas is very important. Families gather together to give thanks for this important time of the year. But before dinner, the people attend Miso del Gallo and sing carols. They also do dances and play instruments. They dance and sing traditional songs like "Noche de Paz". Christmas dinner is a tradition that has the smell of a delicious family meal in the house. They serve turkey, ham, and ground beef that goes with rice and vegetables.
